I adore Apartment Therapy and have always wanted to enter one of their contests. So, with this last apartment, I finally did! Our apartment was listed today…in the running for the “Coolest Smallest Apartment” for 2007. Click here to check it out and vote! Pretty please? I voted Stellar for you. However, the majority of AT readers just don’t get “real” homes that are colorful, comfortable, and full of personality. But maybe after seeing yours, they’ll catch the bug. Good luck!

Yes…I know. AT is more on the modern side, but I’ve seen a few cozy apts on there! I love using their ideas for inspiration and making them my own.

Sara, I LOVE your blog and I voted stellar for your apt.! Now that we’re starting a new season, are you going to give any updates on your minimalist wardrobe, as to how many pairs of shorts, sandals, etc.? I have been on the same quest to pare down my wardrobe and house and eliminate debt.

sarah….GREAT apartment! the best by far. too many homes are “stylish” but not warm, and you have captured the warmth a home should have. i really love your taste and appreciate your dedication to simplicity. its so beautiful and so inspirational. i have been really encouraged by your blog. i also voted stellar!

LOVE your apartment too! The four of us live in a 1000 sq. foot house – VERY cozy but we love it. Everyone says we should move somewhere bigger and I get so tired of hearing it…

I looked at some of the other apartments in the running and to me, they were so colorless and lacked the warmth of family/living/happiness. I was amazed…i love that you live life in color.
