Just a quick note to say that Mauro attended fundraising events in Des Moines last night (Saturday) and this afternoon. He looks great!

If you talked with him or heard him playing the guitar, you'd have no idea he had brain surgery nine (!) days ago. The shaved head and the big scar are the only signs.

Anyway, we missed you, Sara, but we had a good time, and I think they raised a decent amount to help with their additional bills.

May you enjoy your time together as it is always so precious. May the Lord be with him and guide the surgeons skilled hands during this procedure. As a side note, my cousin had a tumor removed from his brain that was causing him seizures. He had it removed several years ago and shows no signs of the surgery or complications! My husband and I wholly support an organic food lifestyle and believe it cures many ills. Bless you all during this difficult time.
