Emily Falconbridge Giveaway!
I have been an admirer of Emily Falconbridge’s camera straps for quite some time now…and when we stayed with her family in San Diego, I became the proud owner of one! Thanks Emily!
Her straps are just too cool to pass up…whether you just started taking photos or you’ve been shooting your entire life, you need one of her straps. Why have a boring factory strap around your neck when you can look fabulous with one of Em’s?!
Here is what they look like around the necks some amazing women

Tara Whitney | Ali Edwards | Cathy Zielske
Emily generously donated the red and orange strap that you see above for a giveaway on this blog. Yay yay yay! So…all you have to do is come out of lurkerdom and leave me a comment. Any comment. Tell me what you are doing this weekend. Tell me how you found my blog. Tell me your favorite thing about summer…or something that no one would ever guess about you. It’s a free for all
I will choose the winner at random on July 11. Of course, it would be great if you would tell all the photographers you know about her site as well. Or, buy some extra straps for the photographers in your life. She is constantly updating and posting new and different designs, so be sure to check back often.
Let the giveaway begin…

yea, a cool give away.
I spent 15 hours yesterday on a Mystery Trip with my Girl scout troop. My co-leader has one of those bands (from Emily F.). I was jealous. so, that would be cool if I won and got to show it off to her.

Hi, I’m a homeschooling mom with 3 teenage boys and a preschool daughter. I love your blog. The wild part is – so does my 17 year old son. That’s a 30 year span age difference. I like that he can read about raw food people without the new age idealism that often accompanies the subject. Thanks

Hey Sara, I found your site not too long ago. I haven’t read alot, but I like what I have read so far. We’ve got a friend from Kansas City staying with us. He hitched all the way from K.C. to Aiken S.C. in a little over 2 days. We’re enjoying catching up and sharing what God has been doing in our lives in the last 2 1/2 years. Thanks to our Father for
encouragment from so many ways! Angie

Ooh fun! I found my way here through Emily’s blog, I’m looking forward to getting to know yours. This past weekend we hung out with friends and family in Cocoa Beach relaxing, as well as went to a joyful, homecoming celebration for my husband’s high school chorus teacher/musical mentor who passed away last Sunday night. My favorite thing about summer is traveling to places far, far away from the Florida heat.
) Something people would never guess about me is that I was once interviewed for the Wall Street Journal!
Thanks for the chance to win a camera strap!

Hi Sara,
Around 20 some years ago we once knew each other. Think back………way……back to life in little ol” Akron Iowa, to a street named Haskell and a beige colored two story house. Now think of the old lady named Mable who lived next door and who had a pesky most likely annoying little grand daughter named Lisa. That’s me. Hehe. I remember so many happy play times with you and your siblings and I had a crush on Danny, boy was he cute and from the pictures I see he has only improved with age! Hehe. A couple of weeks ago I was talking with Macrina Searls and her mom and we had been talking of my grandma who has been gone now for eleven years, and I asked if she remembered you and she said yes and that you had this web site. I have been peeking around your past blogs and your pictures, man your mom has not changed she looks the same as she did twenty years ago! Pretty as a picture! Any way I too am looking and seeking a more simpler life not just for me but for my son and our planet. I am a sponge right now to anything that has to do with recycling, organics, natural ways, and just living more simply. I was going to wait until I got all your blogs read before I contacted you but this seemed like the right blog for reconnecting. Please don’t consider me for the camera strap, its beautiful don’t get me wrong and I love taking pictures but my camera wouldn’t do that art work justice. You have a wonderful family and a very interesting life, your little angel is a cutie! I wish I could have breastfed but my milk wasn’t good and my son didn’t take to it any ways, we also have a family bed, I have not gone to dreads like you have and not that I think there is anything wrong with them I don’t think I will. I do keep my hair simple though a quick swipe of the hair brush and a head band and since I don’t do make-up I am ready for the day! I can’t wait to read the blogs I haven’t gotten to yet and the ones to come! You can catch up on my life on my myspace page, I don’t blog as much as you do though.
