On The Road Again

We are finally settled in Bozeman, and now we’re off traveling again for 6 weeks! :) We’ve been in Des Moines for the past 2 weeks doing some work for my parents and now we’re heading to Boulder, CO for Matt to work on a construction project with my brother. We’ll be back home around March 15 or a little after.  I’ve been to several playgroups and a knitting circle (see above photo….and no, I don’t knit…but had fun watching!)…and have had great conversation over Thai food with many friends (Bozeman has none…so I’m in heaven).

While we’ve been back, I’ve also been to a prenatal yoga class at The Family Tree (the “famous” Sandi Hoover was out of town, but Birdie did a great job filling in), had the most AMAZING massage by Maggie McGinnis…prenatal massage extraordinaire, and had an adjustment with the lovely Dr. Jen at Balanced Life Chiropractic (she offered to adjust us for free when we were on tour and I just now took her up on it…thanks Jen!!).

And now we’re looking forward to the next leg of our trip.  If you live in the Boulder area, let me know if there is fun stuff happening. We’ll be staying with some of our very best friends in Lafayette for the first 2 weeks (yay!), but will be in a rental in Boulder for the last 2 weeks.

How exciting for you guys! I live in Littleton, so not too far from where you are at at all!! I actually had emailed you about the possibility doing my doula logo for me a couple weeks ago! My two kiddos and I are always up for a playdate if you find yourself bored!

There is a new Thai restaurant on 30th St. in Steely Yard. I haven’t tried yet, but since you love Thai food, you might want to try that place! :)

Try a restaurant called “Sherpa” at 825 Walnut Street in Boulder, one block south of Pearl Street. Their Himalayan cuisine is very good. Every time we are in Boulder, we stop there for a lunch. We try to have it outside whenever weather permits.

    For more information about Sherpa:

Hey, Sara…just FYI…we’re having a house concert featuring Barry&Michelle Patterson (barryandmichelle.com) on Friday, February 27th (7305 W. 68th Ave. Arvada, CO – probably 20 or 30 minutes from where you are)…no idea how many are coming, quite sure it’s gonna be the happiest place on the front range that eve. Everyone should hear Barry and Michelle! All are welcome. ($10 at the door/or whatever you can throw down for the artists…)
I love reading your blog. I’m a fellow raw food lovin holy-focused liv-er. Would love to meet you…
    Peace…
    Ashley

Sara, I wanted to let you know about a virtual “party” that you might be interested in inviting your blog friends to. I met this most amazing person at the Jubilee Conference who is doing really creative things to deal with poverty and justice issues. Anyway, this particular effort is just plain fun as well as being beneficial (the whole thing is based on his discovery that $450 million in Home Depot gift cards alone are unredeemed each year and could be passed on to those in need).

Anyway, if you feel like inviting your friends, here’s the deal…
