Hi Sara,
I have just discovered your wonderful blog. I live in Australia with my husband & 3 yr old daughter. I have started to read your posts from way back in 2006. I just love the posts of you getting your dreadlocks. I have wanted them for years & I'm a hairdresser!!!!! You have inspired me so much. I will keep reading your posts but just wanted to wish you all the best, and to thank you for being such an inspiration to me.
Take care & God bless

I follow your blog and have been checking more frequently looking for news of your new addition! I am so sorry for the loss of your grandmother... Hearing of the loss of your grandmother made me think of a moment that I experienced while I was in labor with my daughter. My husband and I were on the way to the birthing center in the middle of the night...by that time, my contractions were very strong and I was having to hold onto the handle above the car door to get through them. We were just taking the overpass to Mopac ( in Austin) and I was in the middle of a huge contraction when, all of the sudden, I had this moment of great peace and clarity...I felt the strongest presence of my deceased grandparents right there in the car with me!! It brought such a sense of comfort and spiritual connectedness. My daughter was born just a few hours later and I have no doubt that they were there with her and helping her and me along through the whole birth. It was one of the most profound moments of my life! I hope that you memories of your grandmother and your faith bring you great peace during this time. I will be thinking of you and your family as you get closer to the birth of your newest addition...so exciting!!
