Sometimes babies like to bite those toys. I wonder, is it really safe to use?

So I'm a little late to this, I guess, but I came across this post while searching for RV remodels. My husband and I just bought a 1977 Class C Winnebago (for $1000!) and we're wanting to fix it up. I LOVE what you guys have done with all of your spaces (I may have also browsed your flickr... :) ). How much did you spend on all the updates? Do you have any tips/advice for me?

We(well mostly I on the decorating part-as he says just leave it like it is and use it-yea right!) are redecorating a '90 model with mostly peach & blue decor-YUCK!, my qusetion is did you prime the walls before painting them or just go right on and paint? Also has anyone used laminate wood flooring? Would I have to worry about it getting wet and warping? So far I have made new curtains because the old ones shredded when I washed them. I am doing neon colors orange, purple, green, pink and considering painting yellow, lavender, and maybe orange spice colors with wood looking floors. Also wanted to let everyone know that wall words can be bought at Dollar Tree stores in the craft section.

Just bought an old RV & looking for redecorating inspiration when I found this site. I love it and cannot wait to get started! It wasn't until about this last time (third) that I looked at the site and realized that you are also a mom & photographer. We have a few things in common...It's no wonder I loved your design :).

I was actually looking for a battery for my 'new' 1983 Minnie Winnie when I stumbled onto your site. In July 2009, my son and I drove a new Class A up to Anchorage for my sister we then bought their 1983 Minnie Winnie. They bought it from my stepdad and had it for about 5yrs, so it's been in the 'family' for quite some time. It only had 72k miles on it when I got it. We drove it around Alaska for 5wks before we finally gave up and came back home to Kansas. Check out my blog: http://www.kansascigards.blogspot.com/ we had a fantastic time. I'm thinking about doing some remodeling, you've got great taste. Thanks for the pictures and ideas. It really does have possibilities.

This is awesome! I'm glad to find in the comments why you've now had three RVs. I used to read your blog but then it fell off my radar for a while. So glad to find you! I often think of your patchwork bed quilt, because I'd like to make one like that for myself but have yet to do so. I fondly remember your photo of it in the Living Lightly tour RV...You guys are so inspiring in so many ways!

That looks absolutely gorgeous!! I love it! I would love to turn our camper into one that looks like that. Would you care to share what paint you used on the walls and cabinets and how you nailed the pictures on the walls. I have been afraid to nail into mine, thinking it might ruin it. Thanks!
