Matt and Bella have always had a special bond through music, and now that same bond is forming with Lucy. She is mesmerized by her Daddy…and will soon be dancing alongside her sister.

The greatest part about traveling the country is….THE PEOPLE! Bella has “best friends” at every stop.

Our new travel blog, “Happy Janssens”, has been in the design phase for about a month…but our designer has had a family emergency and needs to pass the project on to someone else. I know that there are many of you who are talented in this area…and I would love to support someone who already reads my blog!

If you are interested in working with us on this project, please email me for more info. Or, if you know someone who does web…pass this along! Thanks so much!!

It’s the THIRD week of my “Magical Month of Giveaways”! I’m so excited to introduce you to this next mama. Becca is a good friend of mine from Bozeman and she makes the cutest stuff. Her Etsy store, Simply Love,  features the adorable custom onesies that you see above and also custom baby blocks. We have a set that says “LUCIA” and she loves to play with them!

This week’s giveaway is for one custom onesie in either long sleeve or short sleeve. In addition to the giveaway, Becca is offering FREE SHIPPING for readers of my blog. Just put the code “WSLW” in the comments section and then adjust your total accordingly.

To enter in the giveaway:

  • Leave a comment below with the name of your favorite holiday song.
  • For an extra entry, put a link back to this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter (and then do a second comment here that says “FB/Twitter”)

I will announce the winner on Friday, December 11 (deadline for entry is 12:00pm PST).

What are the odds that the winner of a totally RANDOM drawing with 233 entries will be someone I’m actually friends with in real life? Well, odds are pretty good apparently.

Commenter #97…my dear friend Alicia (aviongirl)…you won!! I’ll be in touch with you so you can get your new print!! :)

And to everyone else…be sure to take advantage of Arian’s Buy One, Get One Free offer. This offer expires on December 14, so stock up on the prints you want for yourself and for others. These make such wonderful gifts!

When you are ordering, just write “WSLW” in the comment section and also write the name of the 2nd piece you would like for free.

Have a great day everyone!

{Warm}
It’s been raining all night and it’s still coming down.
I’m thankful to have a view of the ocean
…and a warm cup of coffee in my hand.

{Discovery}

We are spending time in Pismo Beach, CA…discovering new and exciting things on the beach. Shells, sand dollars, crabs, seaweed, and more. Sweet Bella is a collector at heart, so many of the less smelly/wet treasures came home with us.

I ♥ Mail

Filed under: Mail

mailbox copy
‘Tis the season to send out holiday cards…and I would LOVE to hear from your family. It’s so fun to see your photos and hear how your year went. Getting mail is extra special for us because we don’t have a traditional mailbox. Our mail goes to Texas, and then the lovely Escapees send it to wherever we request. So when a big envelope of greetings shows up, I get pretty excited!

Please add us to your list:
