Ask Me Anything

I’m guessing Formspring has been around for awhile, but I am just now learning about it. It seems like fun. I can’t promise I will answer all questions submitted…in fact, I know I won’t. But I will do my best! Some questions may morph into new blog posts :) All I ask is that you be respectful and kind.

Hi there! someone gave me a link to your page, and I must say, I think it is so great. I love it. So much good stuff. I just might have to link to it on my page, http://www.faliaphotography.com, if you don’t mind :) -Sonja

Hi Sara, I’m the person that asked you the Glide Memorial Church question. Check out the church when you have a moment, and definitely take your family there next time you’re in San Francisco. Pastor Cecil Williams is amazing. Even if you don’t agree with his philosophy of radical inclusion – it really is radical – then go for the gospel music. It is truly soul music. -Ann

There are quite a few recordings of the Glide Ensemble on youtube. This is one of my favorites – Martin Scott,”I Surrender.”

Ok, Sara…here’s my question for you…I haven’t really seen much on your blog (maybe I missed it) about the issue of beauty/body image as it pertains to women. The reason I bring this up is I have a major struggle with this day in and day out and wonder if you have experience with this? You are absolutely gorgeous and seem to really be secure in your apprearance and identity. As a Christian, I don’t want to be so focused on myself and I want to see myself the way God sees me, but it holds me back so much! Thanks!
