Happy Janssens Blog is LIVE!
I am VERY excited to announce that our new blog is officially LAUNCHED!! Woooo hoooo!
Come join us at Happy Janssens!
There are 23 blogs already posted for your reading pleasure and TONS of new photos (including lots of new listings at my Etsy store). I’ve been blogging all of our travels from the time we bought the RV, but the dates aren’t exactly right because I blogged them all at once
Now that I’m caught up, the posts will be in “real time”. We love love love comments…so don’t be shy!
You will see there that we are currently taking bookings for photography sessions, veggie oil conversions, and custom RV remodels. Please contact us right away if you’re interested in hiring us for these services when we are in your area. We are basing our route on our booked jobs.
Spread the word…and put one of little blog “buttons” on your site!
Have a wonderful weekend…see you over at Happy Janssens!
**This will be our every day travel blog…it does not replace Walk Slowly. I will still blog here as well.**

Hi, Sarah,
Just wanted to say hey and tell you I just started reading your blog and it is great! I’m a blogger too. My husband and I are hoping to go on the road in our very own RV as soon as we can figure out how to keep an income coming in. Wanted to ask if you would be interested in reading my blogs too…I have three: http://www.redefined-juliet.blogspot.com (my social experiment – been writing there since I shaved my head last January), http://www.adventuremobile.blogspot.com (my family’s outdoor excursions and how we’re making it on a small budget), and http://www.holistic365.blogspot.com (me trying to live greener and better in the next 365 days). Thought you might be interested. Thanks so much for blogging!

Congratulations on having the courage to lead your lifestyle, and most importantly, thank you for sharing with the rest of us! I have just recently found your site and have enjoyed it thoroughly and look forward to following you on your newest adventure. I haven’t read all of the comments yet, but feel compelled to inquire if you have plans for providing college education for your beautiful babies, and what you have planned for your retirement (do you see yourself doing this when you are 80:)?) These are the things keeping us back. I totally get the un/homeschooling, but just have great concerns about my children having the financial opportunity to continue with higher education, should we hit the road. We also can’t really see ourselves living in campgrounds or boondocking at Wallyworld for the entire rest of our lives:). Just wondering if you had any thoughts on these subjects that you care to share:)? Peace!

Hi Jodi…
We would not be funding it for them, however.
Thanks for writing! We really don’t have any expectations at all for the girls and their future. If they decide to pursue a college education, that would be great! If not, great!
We really don’t have “retirement” plans…and yes, we do HOPE that we will be doing this when we are 80!
There are some amazing campgrounds that I would love to live at…they are basically the same as living in any other community.
I can see us volunteering in our later years…in state forests, missions work, etc…

First of all I’d like to say, this is a really informative post! I’ve got a small question bothering me, I really enjoy the layout of your website and tried to install the same theme on my Worpdress website. Yet, there is some kind of strange php error in the sidebar. Do you have any tips, which version are you using? Please PM me on Twitter @CokeCooky or via e-mail.

Sara,
Wow!!! After reading some of your blogs!! I feel connected and would love to meet your family. I was just brought to you thru way of google….I have decided to dread and put in a search question….what to do once someone seperates my hair to dread…my friend will seperate it tomorrow but my family…husband and 2 teenage boys will have to help me from there…I am going to twist it but I have so many ?’s. Your blog with photos came up and I clicked. We have SO much in common and I applaude you and your husband for hitting the road and living life..I would so do it in a heart beat but my sweet hubby is not so free spirited to that…which is all good. Thanks for posting and I will always be checking in….we are in Texas so if you get back this way especially around the nice historic town of Granbury we need to visit
