DPP ’10 // Rest

I don’t remember the last time I sat and put my feet up. When there are so many things on my to-do list, it’s hard to MAKE myself stop moving…both physically and mentally. But after being sick off and on for several weeks now, I had to take a break today. It wasn’t for long, but it was enough to take a few deep breaths.

I had to do this today, too. It wasn’t easy, as there were so many things to be done. But it helped, and I found that afterwards, the day seemed to flow so much more smoothly! :)

It’s okay. Everything you need to do will still be there. It won’t go anywhere.

so important, especially at this time of year. I find our bodies have ways of telling us when we really need to slow down! The crazy part is usually, if we can really give into the rest and thoroughly chill and bliss out, then we have so much renewed energy to do all the other stuff that seemed so overwhelming before – ironic or what ? Hope your rest left you refreshed and that you are feeling better soon With love Jules x
