Beautiful Familiarity

Tonight we went out on the town with our dear friends Kris and Natalie and their kiddos…and we had such a fabulous time. We enjoyed celebrating the end of a long week and looking forward to the beginning of a productive and relaxing weekend…all the while basking in the beautiful familiarity that we share after 12 years of friendship.

LOVE! We had dinner with dear friends last night, too. Our children are all grown, so no kids, but the smiles and laughter, fun and food, stories and encouragement were all there. (no pics, but… maybe next time)

I love reading your blog and don’t think I’ve ever commented. I’m so happy for you and your family now that you are able to settle in Colorado. And I had to comment on this post, because I know Kris. His sister, Tara, is a good friend of mine from our college days. How fun that you are living in the same town as them. I would love to live so close to dear friends like that. Please tell them I said hello! And enjoy your time together with friends!
