Lipstick, Lilacs, and Fabulous Shoes

She is a true artist in all things.

There is nothing sweeter than flowers given by a child.

When your husband is 6’5″, it’s fun to be a bit taller sometimes.

Plaid Chucks for $2? Yes please. Daddy found these while thrifting. I have an amazing husband.

And a pink pair for the littlest one!? I think I’m in love.

What are 3 simple joys that you’ve experienced today?

Love lilacs, but they are done here. Love shoes, but my feet hurt in high heels. I love strawberries sliced in heart shapes. I love an empty in-box. I love a funny movie while walking on the treadmill.

I took my little Lola to her Kindergarten and could stay for half an hour with she before running to work. I went to my ginecologist at noon and my pregnancy is going perfectly well. I am about to leave work to go home, have a warm shower, be with my Lola again, and my dog, and my love, and prepare some natural dinner, and for sure sing! Lola loves to sing with me :)

    1. Hubby has the day off and we’ve officially started our spring cleaning together.
    2. We got caught in the rain after having new shades cut for the house…the shades doubled as a great umbrella.
    3. Got up early to add a few new hoops to the family; they really make me smile every time I look at them.

Thanks for the reminder to be thankful for the little things and acknowledge them!
