Catina Jane Arts Giveaway
*Squeeeeeeeel* Isn’t it adorable? I’ve loved Catina’s art from the moment I set eyes on it YEARS ago. It’s so quirky and delicious…and the colors are crazy vibrant. Catina and I have been online friends for as long as I can remember…her beautiful dreads played a big part in my decision to dread my own hair…and one of her pieces of art has graced the walls of nearly all of our homes.
She also makes wonderfully unique jewelry…

And joy of all joys…both of these pieces are up for grabs! I will choose 2 different winners…the first drawing will be for the art, and the second for the necklace. I will take entries for the giveaway through 12:00 CST on Monday, May 17.
To enter:
- Check out Catina Jane’s website and Etsy store and let me know what your favorite piece is.
- Facebook or Twitter for an additional entry: I just entered the Catina Jane Arts Giveaway on Walk Slowly, Live Wildly…check it out! http://bit.ly/cCrB7m
- Blog on your own blog for yet another entry.
Be sure to put each entry on a new comment below…I choose the winner by comment number, so if you put them all in one comment, it only counts once.
Catina is offering FREE SHIPPING to my blog readers as well…and she has just stocked her store with tons of beautiful new art and jewelry! Just enter the words “Walk Slowly” in the comments for your order. Be sure to take advantage of this offer, it will expire on May 20, 2010.

Delight Photo & Design is on Etsy!

Thank you so much for bearing with me during this time of “silence” on my blog. I know that it’s been awhile since I’ve done a “real” post, but I assure you that I have ideas brewing and will be resuming writing when life settles down a bit. I’m just trying to stay afloat and juggle everything coming at me…I’m sure all of you can relate!
In the meantime, I have some exciting news! I am launching my own Etsy store…Delight Photo & Design. The store features photos I’ve taken from around the country…images that have made me HAPPY! I hope they will make your homes happy too.
I will continue adding to the collection as we travel as well…so be sure to check back frequently. I have included a little blurb about where each photo was taken, etc.
To get things rolling, I’d like to offer a “grand opening special” to all of you through the end of September:
Buy 2 prints…Get 1 FREE!
Thanks so much for all of your kind words and support these last couple of years…you make my day brighter!! And thank you in advance for supporting a stay at home mama.

Etsy: Handmade Goodness
Etsy. You know you love it
And so do I. Who can resist all the artsy, crafty goodness? I love the fact that you can buy directly from the creative soul who made your item. No middle man. Less waste. More fun.
I recently came across Jessica’s store (she is also one of my friends and just an all-around fabulous person)…where she is offering a custom “metamorphosis” of your soft baby carrier. This is the coolest thing I’ve seen…especially if you have an older Ergo like I do. Check it out. She also has adorable tie dye stuff available.
And while we’re talking Etsy, here are some of my favorite stores:
ChopstixWaits
Coolest stuff ever. She did a custom wrap skirt for me that I adore…it’s just like Em’s seen here.
Enchanted Gypsy
Felted wool pregnant and nursing mama figures (and more!). SO FUN.
Em Falconbridge
Art, camera straps, and other creative goodies. We love Em.
One Love Creations
Can I love her tube tank dresses any more?! Lots of cool stuff.
Arliaflower
Fun dread wraps and neat clothes.
Rebecca Tolk Photography
Great art.
Palmetto Handmade
This is the store of my dear friend, Kristi. I’m in love with her “verse purse”.
OneBlackBird
Be sure to check out her “glow bowls”.
Fields of Joy
My friend, Emilee. Love her stuff.
Boulevard Designs
This is the store of my lovely friend Sarah…owner of Wallypop. She makes amazing cloth diapers, and other fun stuff. Check out the felted wool bowls!
Olive
Fun, unique pillows!
Lisa Hurwitz
Could these paintings be any more adorable? Everyone needs one in their house.
So those are mine…who are your favorite sellers on Etsy? Feel free to shamelessly promote your own goods as well.
